ShowCase works closely with partners in the marketing of our product, which may include co-branded web sites. These web sites are managed by us, and thus adhere to the same privacy policy. However, each partner handles their own customer data according to their own policies.

Overview

ShowCase is a privately-owned company that operates a web site providing customer relationship management tools to real estate professionals. ShowCase hosts web-based applications for managing all of an agent's clients, along with personal information about their home search. Clearly, the information stored by our site is of a private nature.

Accordingly, our Privacy Policy shares those same goals.

Secure Billing

We use industry-leading 128-bit SSL to encrypt your credit card information for our billing systems. Your numbers are stored in an encrypted format to protect your information.

Collection of Information

ShowCase does not require any personally identifiable information to gain access to our main site. However, to perform certain activities on ShowCase, we need to collect enough information to allow us to complete the desired activity.

• If you send us a question, we need your email address in order to respond.

• If agents want to begin using our client management services, they must create a ShowCase account. Account creation requires an email address only. Certain portions of the service are available for free during a trial period. However, agents may opt to establis a subscription plan with us. When you establish a subscription plan, thus requiring a payment, we will collect your address and payment (credit card) information. Any sensitive information is entered via SSL/HTTPS and is fully encrypted for your security.

  Account creation requires you to select a password. Passwords are stored in our database as an MD5 hash, which means that we do not actually know your password. We are only able to tell if a password that you have entered at login matches your current password. Should you forget your password, we will create a temporary password that will be emailed to you since we do not have access to your actual password. However, we do not use SSL/HTTPS on our site, so login / password information does flow unencrypted on the network.

• If you become a ShowCase WebSite customer, we may request and store your credit card information for billing purposes. If you prefer to pay by check, please inquire with our sales staff.

When surfing ShowCase, we do log non-personally identifiable information for each "hit", including IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page, etc. This information is used in aggregate to determine site statistics and individually to investigate cases of misuse of the site or debugging of reported problems.

Cookies

ShowCase will uses cookies if your browser supports them. They are not required to use ShowCase. Cookies are pieces of information stored on your computer that can be recalled by web sites to provide better service. ShowCase uses cookies for both session tracking and the "remember me" feature of our site. In both cases, the only information saved in the cookie is a unique identifier that can be linked with your current session, or user ID, respectively.

Sharing of Information

ShowCase does not share any ShowCase account information with third parties, except for an agent's 'business card' information shown above each agent's property listings to ensure agents maximum exposure for their business, and an agent's actual property listings. All other information, including your client list and their contact information, ratings, and other CRM data are strictly private.

However, some features of the site do require us to share some data with partners. For instance, if you order a virtual tour or request for flyers to be presented, we will transmit only such information that is required to complete that transaction. This typically includes your name, contact information, and sometimes information about the property for which you are requesting service. In no case do we share your credit card information with our partners.

Opt-Out Email List

ShowCase periodically sends emails to our customers regarding site news, important information, and sometimes offers from third parties. You can opt-out of these emails by changing your mailing list setting on your account page.
